A permit is only the start. Most building jobs end with a final inspection and a Certificate of Occupancy (CO) or Certificate of Completion from your town, city or village. Without it, the work can still show up as open or unapproved on your property's record, which can cause problems when you sell or refinance.
We take jobs through to the CO or Certificate of Completion across the Towns of Hempstead, North Hempstead and Oyster Bay, the Cities of Glen Cove and Long Beach, and the villages.

Timing: simple jobs typically take 2–4 weeks; more complicated jobs typically take 4–8 weeks. It varies by town and scope and is never guaranteed.
What's the difference between a Certificate of Occupancy and a Certificate of Completion?
Both are issued by your municipality after final approval. Which one you get depends on the type of work and your town's process. We'll tell you which applies to your job.
My house is old and the CO doesn't match what's there. Can you fix that?
Yes. We review the records and handle the legalizations and filings needed to bring the record up to date.
Can you get a CO for work that's already finished?
Often, yes, by legalizing the work and taking it through inspections.
Do you handle commercial certificates?
Yes, including after a change of use.
